Boost is a paid add-on that gives a single listing priority placement in search results, putting it in front of more tenants. It is optional, and it is bought per listing for a fixed period rather than as a subscription.
Boost is not the same as renewing. Renewing a listing extends its expiry by 90 days and is always free. The two options sit next to each other in the same menu, which catches people out, so it is worth knowing the difference before you click.

Prices are per listing, in Canadian dollars, before tax. If you are on any Pro plan the 15% discount is applied automatically, you do not need a code.
How to boost a listing
- Go to Menu > Listings.
- Click the three dots at the right-hand end of the listing you want to boost.
- Click Boost, which sits directly above Renew.
- Choose 30, 60 or 90 days and complete the payment.
Which listings are worth boosting
Boost works hardest where there is competition for attention. It tends to be most useful for a space you need to move quickly, a listing in a market with a lot of comparable inventory, or a property that has been sitting without enquiries. Boosting every listing at once dilutes the benefit, since the advantage is relative to other listings in the same search.
Common questions
Do I need Boost to keep my listing live? No. Listings stay live for 90 days at a time and renewing is free. Boost only affects placement.
Why am I being asked to upgrade when I try to renew? You have most likely clicked Boost rather than Renew. They are adjacent in the same menu. Renew is the lower of the two and costs nothing.
Does Boost renew automatically? No. It runs for the period you buy and then stops.
Can I boost a listing that has expired? Renew it first so it is live again, then boost it.
