Spacelist is a commercial real estate listings platform. We are not a brokerage. We do not own, lease or manage any of the spaces you see on the site, and we do not act as an agent for tenants or landlords.
What we do is put Canada's available commercial space in one place, so you can find what fits and contact the person handling it directly.
What that means for your search
- We cannot search on your behalf or shortlist spaces for you
- We cannot arrange or attend viewings
- We cannot negotiate rates or lease terms
- We do not hold keys, floor plans or lease documents beyond what a listing shows

How to find space
- Search by city. Use the search bar or Find a Space in the top menu.
- Filter. Narrow by space type (office, retail, industrial, land, medical, multifamily, coworking), size, price and whether it is for lease or for sale.
- Contact the agent directly. Every listing has a message and call button. That goes straight to the person leasing the space, not to us. They can confirm availability, rate, permitted use and viewings.
- Save your search. We will email you when new spaces match, so you are not checking back manually.
It is free to search and free to enquire. You do not need an account to browse, though saving searches requires one.

Questions worth asking the listing agent early
These are the ones that most often decide whether a space works, and they are rarely fully answered in a listing:
- Is the use you have in mind permitted under the zoning, and is the landlord comfortable with it? This matters most for automotive, food, medical, cannabis and childcare uses.
- What is included in the rate, and what is additional rent?
- Is the space available as-is, or is a fit-out expected?
- What lease term is the landlord looking for?
